I wish that I could say I got lost in the Fae world where time works differently, but that isn't the truth. The truth is, I was here dealing with a lot. It started with burnout and then spiraled when shit got real. My father's health, my physical health, my mental health. It all became too much for me and it was time to unplug. So I did that, I unplugged and put my head down. I focused on healing, my health and my writing. 

So, be sure to scroll to my planned release schedule below to get an idea for upcoming releases, but I can tell you firmly about the following:

1. Bad Blood & Hot Blooded & Book 3 (Her Beautiful Monsters Series) This is my brand new co-author release with my bestie, Graceley Knox! Book one is done and ready for release on Feb. 18th! (You can grab it on pre-order) Book two, Hot Blooded, is undergoing final edits and is scheduled for April 7th release (also up for pre-order) The final book will release in June 2022. 

This series is a paranormal romance and not a reverse harem.

2. Of Gods & Monsters (Bad Omens Book One) is complete and undergoing edits. I will likely have that releasing March 1st. This is planned for a trilogy and its a fantasy/urban fantasy romance. 

3. God of Wolves (Shadowmane Mafia Book One) is complete and undergoing edits. That will be releasing next week (Feb 21st roughly). This is a high heat shifter romance trilogy/urban fantasy romance. 

Keep checking back on this one, because I will be doing updates frequently! Also, you can subscribe to my newsletter to get all the latest news before everyone else. 

The simple answer? Yes! I have new covers and books 3 and 4 (Dark Secrets and Dark Destiny) have new covers and will be up for pre-order for mid summer and late fall of 2022. 

Well, there isn't a simple answer to this question.

If you don't want to read the longer answer here is the short version:

I was immobilized by fear. Fear of being good enough and meeting expectations. 

Now, the long answer:

One thing writers constantly grapple with is imposter syndrome. Basically no matter how great we do, or how many books we sell, or how many people tell us they love our books, we still don't feel good enough. I felt stressed to make it perfect, and for a long time, my obsession with making it the best book, made the series become my kryptonite. Dark Summoner was my first book and The Relic Keeper Series as my first series. I put so much love and soul into this series that I was stressed about meeting reader expectations. I made myself incapable of finishing it at the time because I thought I couldn't do it justice. Then life threw a few hurdles on me. But, I'm glad to say I feel differently about that now. And I am ready to share the rest of Abby's story with the world!

I understand your skepticism... 

Yes! I know I've disappointed my readers in the past and earning back your trust is the most important thing to me. But I can tell you that my large break between releasing books has given me a lot of time to grow, heal, and become an even better author. I also have so many new books and series ready to go that it's going to be an incredible few years before I need a new idea lol. 

Absolutely not. My "break" was more than enough to get me back in the zone. During that time I continued writing and working on projects and new covers so when I was ready to "return" I'd be back in full force. 

So, this is a *rough* schedule and subject to change. (Currently I am only listing 2022)

Yes! This is our baby and it's going to be completed! We only have 3 books left to finish and those will be completed between 2022 and 2023. I won't put those on the schedule because we need to fine tune all the details but as soon as I have a firm first draft, we'll put them up!

HELL NO.

Well...

Egh... Yes and no. 

I actually really enjoy instagram best of all, so that's where I tend to be most of the time. I also enjoy watching TikToks and may eventually play with that, but overall I prefer to stay off social media. That doesn't mean I won't be posting regularly and interacting, it just means I like to stay focused and not linger on facebook. It's a time suck for me.

So, I absolutely plan on attending events again once I am "back in the saddle" so to speak. I was invited to attend Rare Scotland for May of 2022, but to be honest, I am not sure I am going to make it. I can definitely say that as long as the world resumes to some normalcy by 2023, I do plan on attending in person events for readers and authors.

Well, audiobooks are expensive and currently, I don't make a ton with them...yet! So I tend to hold off on those until the books are moving and funds are bountiful. Once I get things going again with releases, I'll begin producing audiobooks for my frontlist and my backlist. Currently, you can get most of my backlist in audio. Is this really a question? OF COURSE lol! I love co-authoring and will continue to do so. Graceley Knox is one of my best friends and my lifelong sister! We will continue to be writing together from now until THE END OF DAYS!!!!

The short answer is yes. It will begin with my Shadow Creatures getting books 2/3 done and then the Supernaturals of Los Melos. Final project will be my Lace Revolver Chronicles. I don't have exact dates on WHEN these will be happening, but I promise you guys will be the first to know any updates. 

I am in the process of getting my store set up and getting special edition hardbacks created! (Along with some very fun other items) As soon as everything is ready, the store will launch  and be available for purchase directly through my site.
